The first special event of the 62nd Mt. SAC Relays presented by NIKE will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 3:30pm for the long-awaited ribbon cutting ceremony of Heritage Hall, adjacent to the newly renovated, stunning Hilmer Lodge Stadium, site of 21 world records. In addition, the statue of Hilmer Lodge, Mt. SAC Relays founder & the community college’s first Track & Field and Cross Country coach (1948-63), will be unveiled.
Heritage Hall is a unique element of Mt. San Antonio College’s new Athletics Complex East. The 100,000 square foot facility includes the Kinesiology, Athletics & Dance Division Offices, meeting / teaching space, the Don & Sandi Ruh Education Center and the Doug Smith Museum which showcases the rich history of Mt. SAC Athletics and its special events.
Parking (Lot F) and admission are FREE that Relay day which includes Day One of the Decathlon and Heptathlon completion.
