76th Annual Mt. SAC XC Invite presented by NIKE!

2024 XC INVITE REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2024

In 2024, the 76th annual Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational will welcome athletes from the elementary school to the community college level, across two weekends, to compete over its famed course. The names “Valley Loop”, “Switchbacks”, “Poop Out Hill” and “Reservoir Hill” are part of cross country lore.

A live webcast of the High School division will be broadcast by RunnerSpace+ showcasing the best cross country runners and teams on the challenging Mt. SAC course.

In 2024, after capping off 75 incredible years of  history, the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational enters a new era, with the first major course path change in 46 years.  To utilize the new state-of-the-art Mt. SAC facilities, provide a better spectator experience and align with the current state of cross country running in the United States, the course will be lengthened to exactly 3.0 miles, finish in the stadium (using our giant Daktronics scoreboard for video and results) and with great sadness to many… eliminate the steep challenging, but venerable, Poop Out Hill.  The new course promises to boost the excitement of the event, increase the fan experience and provide the canvas for another 75 years of memorable moments, on the “updated” course path.
