Specific Drills to Improve High School Hurdlers

If you are a coach that knows the basics of hurdling, but needs a more detailed idea of how to teach kids to really improve their technique, this class is for you. This class is more focused on details of good hurdling. You will receive many drills to teach good hurdling, and you will be given information for the “go-to” drill that will teach your athletes how to 3-step or sprint in between hurdles.

Strength / Power Training

This presentation will cover methods to develop strength, power and explosiveness using a variety of techniques. These techniques include: Multi-Jumps (Plyos), Multi-Throws (Medicine Ball) and Resistance Training using dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells and bodyweight movements. You will be presented with many options to improve your athlete’s performance regardless if you have a weight room or not.
