COVID-19 Delays New Mt. SAC Hilmer Lodge Stadium Debut
Hilmer Lodge Stadium has been turned into a state-of-the-art 11,500-seat stadium that could potentially expand to 20,000 seats for bigger events, but when it will make its long-awaited, much anticipated debut is anyone’s guess with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to stall sporting events for the foreseeable future.
UPDATE: Hilmer Lodge Stadium Opening Postponed
Construction has been completed on the new Hilmer Lodge Stadium, but the Mt. SAC planned April 4th grand opening celebration has been postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The 2020 Mt. SAC Relays, scheduled for April 16-18th, were also cancelled; the first Mt. SAC Relays not to be held in its 62-year history.
Michael Norman steals the show at Mt. SAC Relays
